Privacy Policy

TennisAI is the operator of this website and the controller of personal data collected through the service.

You can manage or delete your account in Account. We will add a public privacy contact address as the product grows.

• Account identity — email and password, display name, optional avatar URL, and self-reported age (16+).
• Personalization — players you follow, tournaments or matches you watch, and related My Tour preferences.
• Match Pick & paper bets — limited Match Pick desks and paper-bet settings, drafts, and ledger entries you save (entertainment / paper tracking only — not real-money gambling).
• AI features (when enabled / Pro) — conversation threads, messages, and necessary match or player context you send when using chat or analyst features. Free accounts do not include AI today.
• Usage metering — when AI is available for your account, token and cost aggregates so we can enforce plan limits.
• Technical data — session cookies / tokens required to stay signed in, and short-lived server logs (e.g. IP, user agent) from our hosting providers.
• Device preferences — items stored in your browser (e.g. UI prefs or unsigned caches) that stay on your device unless you sign in and sync product data.

Rankings, player profiles, tournament draws, Elo boards, and tour news shown in the app are sports reference content — not your personal account data. News cards link out to publishers; we do not host full article bodies.

• Contract — to create your account and provide signed-in features (My Tour, Match Pick, paper bets, and AI when your plan includes it).
• Legitimate interests — security, abuse prevention, and basic operational logs, balanced against your rights.
• Consent — only if we later add non-essential cookies, marketing email, or similar optional tracking. We do not currently use advertising or analytics pixels.

We use infrastructure and tools to run TennisAI — hosting, authentication, database, transactional email, and (when AI is enabled) model providers that receive the prompts and context needed to answer. Those providers process data on our instructions to operate the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Paid billing is not offered yet. If we enable Pro later, card payments would be handled by a payment processor; we would store plan status only — not full card numbers.

We keep account and product data while your account remains active. After a verified deletion request, we aim to delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records for security, dispute, or legal reasons. Hosting backups may roll off on a short delay after deletion.

If you are in the EU/EEA (or another region with similar laws), you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

You can update display name, age, and avatar in Account, or use Delete account there to erase your Auth user and personal product data immediately. Signing out only ends your session.

We use strictly necessary cookies / storage for authentication and core functionality. We do not currently set advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required before loading non-essential trackers.

TennisAI is not directed at children under 16. You must be at least 16 to create an account. If you believe we have collected data from someone under that age, contact us through Account deletion or a privacy contact once published, and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do (currently 2026-10-27). Material changes will be reflected on this page.
